Mirta Rojo earned a Bachelor of Arts in Media Communications in Valladolid and started her professional career working as an intern in Condé Nast and as an assistant to photographer Manolo Yllera. “I started loving photography by working in it” she usually says. And she didn’t do badly when she was chosen to be the resident photographer -as we call official DJs- for the recently created El Pais supplement, S Moda. She was just 24 years old. Since then, as in the beginnings of the great stories we like to devour, her career has done nothing but grow. Her portraits, still life photos, and pictographic reports have a personal stamp that you can easily identify, full of freshness and timeless elegance. Come in and enjoy this selection of her pictures. They are shots with technique, pulse, and heart.
